Pentland Firth Yacht Club
The PFYC is a sailing club for sailing dinghies and yachts. We are an affiliated RYA (Royal Yachting Club) club and an RYA recognised teaching establishment.
The club has a well appointed yacht club and workshop and a dinghy park. We regularly organise both fun and racing events and welcome both beginner and experienced sailors. The club facilities include a hard guard boat kept in Scrabster and a RIB rescue boat and a range of single and two handed training boats.
We welcome visiting sailors whom take part in both our series racing and regatta. We have some experienced sailors in our club who regularly compete in regattas across Scotland as well as class national regattas and overseas European and Worlds events. Our cruising section sails around many parts Scotland as well as occasional overseas forays. The club also runs social events, certified training courses and other onshore activities.
